Valentine's day is coming sooner than I'd like! I'm definitely not prepared yet, and this guide is for other girls who haven't planned ahead with gifts. Don't worry, I have a gift guide that will save your relationship.
Since my Christmas Gamer Gift Guide was such a hit, I decided to put together a gift guide for Valentine's Day to help you girls out with your shopping! Now this gift guide is a little different as it doesn't highlight video games to buy your guy, but rather fun video game related items to buy your guy that would be great as a stand alone gift or as part of a gift basket!
I would have included video games, but there really haven't been any good new releases in a long time! If you're looking for video games to buy your guy, check out my Christmas gamer gift guide. March will be a much better month for video games, let me know if you would like me to make this a monthly series. I would love to continue this if it helps you girls out!
Without further adieu I present to you:
I have them categorized by video game to help you out!

(don't let the word replica fool you, this sword can do some serious damage!)

That's all girls! Let me know if you have any questions! I hope this was helpful. I would love to hear some input on whether my readers would like this to be a monthly series on The Domestic Geek blog!

Great list- thank you! I have a gamer geek in my heart now (I'm a table-top RPGer, but brand new to console gaming). I'd love to see a regular list of suggestions from you, even every 3 months!
ReplyDeleteAlso, on a related note....are there any good recent release or soon-to-be-released titles for two players (for PS2/3 or Xbox/360)? I can't seem to find ANY, post 2000, and I would really love to find a game that he and I can play together. Thanks. :D
You should definitely try Borderlands 2, it's the perfect game to ease you into gaming and it's meant to be played as a cooperative multiplayer (up to 4 players I believe). I love that a gamer of any skill level can play and enjoy it, if you're really new to video games I definitely recommend downloading the Mechromancer class, it's an extra $10, but so worth it because your special skill is launching a robot ally who helps a lot! The game overall is great too because it's an RPG/shooter hybrid. You can also play it on PS3 or Xbox 360!
DeleteOh I love you- this is perfect as we have our weeding anniversary in February too and I have been thinking about what to get him as a surprise. The Black Ops t-shirt is perfect!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see more of these blog posts too :) I have no idea what kind of gamer things are out there.
Yeah, you nailed it. These are super funny. I know just the brother who would love this stuff.
ReplyDeleteI love these posts! And I've been looking for a great geeky belt buckle for my hubby.... the Nintendo one is awesome. Might be my next Valentine's day gift! :)
ReplyDeleteMan is this going to be helpful. I have a house full of gamers.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great list! So many fun ideas :)
