If you’re a reader of my blog you probably know I’m actively trying to lose weight! I’m really bad at remembering exactly how much I weighed in at last time I stepped on the scale, I always remember around what it was but not the precise weight. For example I might remember that I was 206 last time, but I definitely don’t remember that I was 206.2 which can make a huge difference if you’re looking for a weight loss! For me seeing those numbers shrink is a big motivator, even if it is by less than a pound. Seeing even just a little weight loss is encouraging and shows that you must be doing something right!
That’s why I love my Eat Smart Precision Tracker Digital Bathroom Scale! It remembers my past weight for me!
Plus it looks fabulous outside my bathroom (unfortunately my bathroom isn’t big enough to fit a scale!)
How the scale works.
Ok, so you probably see a scale with all of these numbers and get intimidated, but not with this Eat Smart scale. It's so simple! Set up is a breeze. If you want your scale to track your weight (you don't have to set it up to track your weight and can use it as a normal scale) all you have to do is follow three easy steps that only take a couple seconds.
Press the set button.
Press the arrow button to set up which user number you want to be.
Weigh yourself.
It's really as easy as that! I promise!
The best part is, your scale will remember you. It will determine that you're a specific user every time you step on the scale, because it detects your profile based on weight range +/- 6.6 pounds.
When you weigh yourself this is the first screen that will pop up. It tells you which user you are, your current weight and your weight the last time you stepped on the scale.
(Yep, those are my real weights, see how honest I am on this blog?!) As you can see my current weight is less than it was on Friday when I weighed myself for our Getting Fit Friday Link-Up! Yay!
Then it shows you your weight change from the last time you weighed yourself. I lost .8 pounds which is .4% since Friday!
Then the best numbers of all. Your total weight change, from when you first bought the scale to your last weigh in, it shows your total amount of weight that you've lost or gained. It shows that I've lost 6 pounds in the last 4 weeks since I got this scale. It's so much more gratifying to see how far you've come rather than just seeing your current weight flash on the screen.
For best (and most satisfying) results you should weigh yourself weekly or bi-weekly, and make sure you're weighing yourself around the same time everyday. Right as you wake up is normally the best! I admit..I normally weigh myself twice a week because I'm curious and this scale makes me feel fantastic about my weight loss.
I would most definitely recommend this to anyone, especially if you're trying to lose weight. It's definitely helped as a tool of encouragement. You can buy your own Eat Smart Precision Tracker Digital Bathroom Scale here!
