Ritter Schnitzel
- Brandy Mushroom Sauce
- Ingredients:
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- half an onion, finely chopped
- 3 Tablespoons flour
- 2.5 cups beef stock
- 3 Tablespoons brandy
- 4 Tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- dash of pepper
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme
- Heat butter in saucepan over medium-high heat, saute onion and mushrooms until soft.
- Sprinkle and stir in flour. Then gradually stir in beef stock.
- Add brandy, whipping cream, dash of pepper and thyme. Let simmer until sauce thickens.
