So somehow it’s been seven years since this Geek and the Beast started dating. We’ve been married 4 1/2 years, and we’ve been parents…and bloggers..for a little over 3 years if you’re trying to keep score.
A little flashback Friday, and this was almost a year after we had been dating.
I’m so lucky to have been able to spend my entire adult life with my best friend (best friend with benefits of course.)
By benefits, I mean that he’s wonderful at changing hard to reach light bulbs and makes the best cup of coffee you can get at home. So good.
Plus, his butt is pretty cute.
Some days we’re the same person, which is really bad on days where we buy a sheet cake, because it was on sale guys and we had something silly to celebrate.
So how will we celebrate our date-iversary? Probably by grilling brats then drafting Magic the Gathering (since we just impulse bought three fat packs, because they’re ridiculously hard to find.) Maybe we’ll even record podcast number 3, because we’re geeks like that.
