Cheesy Jalapeno Burgers

April 27, 2014 by Brittany 2 Comments

Raise your hand if you’ve been grilling every night that you can! I know we have. Grilling means less dishes, and that’s just awesome. One of my favorite kinds of grill food would have to be cheeseburgers, and yes they need to have cheese. What’s the point of a perfectly grilled burger if you don’t top it with melty cheese?

I know I know, I’m going to talk about cheese again, it’s a pretty common theme on this blog. You have no idea how much cheese we have in our house, it’s pretty crazy. We have at least 5 kinds and we eat it with almost every meal, we even eat it as snacks (Kraft Naturals Slices are perfect for snacking!) We seriously love our cheese on everything, and if you’ve tasted Wisconsin cheese you’ll know why.

I have to admit, I normally buy block cheese and slice it myself, but I think I might have found a way easier solution. I just fell in love Kraft Naturals Slices!  These slices work great for sandwiches and they work so awesome for grilling cheeseburgers (they’re aren’t any icky additives, so they melt very nicely!) these will be a must-have for our family this grilling season!

For our mouthwatering recipe I made cheesy jalapeno burgers. These were so good that I’m pretty sure we won’t be eating regular cheeseburgers anytime soon! I’m normally not that big of a fan of jalapenos, but the flavor goes so well with the cheese, onions, and spices. I topped mine with a little bit of organic ketchup, but the flavor was so great that I probably didn’t even need it. AJ puts ketchup on everything, and he always overdoes it.

To make these burgers I mixed chopped onions, jalapenos, Kraft shreds cheese, cold butter, and seasonings into ground hamburger. You’ll have great flavor with each and every bite. Our Cheesy Jalapeno Burgers were extra Cheesy, not only were they topped with Cheese, but they also had cheese inside of each burger. Cheese is perfect for mellowing out spicy flavor if you don’t love your food to be too spicy. If you love spicy food you can top your burgers with Pepper Jack Cheese.
